Destiny Breeze was totally renovated in 2017 offering you a spacious 3,146 square feet of soothing coastal decor with a MASSIVE UPSTAIRS ENTERTAINMENT/DINING/LIVING SPACE! Laughter and memories are sure to be made around the 10’x6′ kitchen island adjacent to the full sized pool table. A large king size bedroom, bathroom and the bunk room are off the wide open living/entertainment area on the second floor. A King master bedroom, a king guest bedroom and twin bedroom, each with a private bath, are on the first level. The laundry room is located off the foyer and has an additional outside entrance. A shower is located outside by the garage for convenient removal of sand from beachcombers and toys. Once inside a Rinnai tankless water heater provides hot showers for everyone! You can wind down the day of enjoying the beach and local activities by playing one of the many family board games you will find in the 3 cabinets on the backside of the kitchen island. After that, retreat to your bedroom to watch a FREE NETFLIX movie or cable TV.
Destiny by the Sea features several beach access points and less than a three-minute walk to the community private beach! Destiny Breeze is managed by owners Debbie & Larry who will meet you upon your arrival to open your door and give you a 5 minute accelerated tour answering your every question. They are available 24/7 via text/phone during your stay. Stop, just stop! Stop looking and start booking. Great house, great beach, great community, and great owners! Spring Break 2019 was awesome, thanks to Larry & Deb and their lovely home.
The beach side neighborhood of Destiny by the Sea is a terrific spot for families. It’s conveniently located close to many restaurants and shopping areas, yet the neighborhood remains rather quite. Plus, you will not have a problem finding a good spot to spread out on the beautiful white beach.
We have stayed in several homes in the neighborhood but Destiny Breeze is now our favorite! The house is fabulous and the owners went out of their way to ensure our stay was perfect! We loved being directly beside the community pool and hot tub. Super convenient and since the pool opens at 10am and closes at 10pm, noise is never an issue. In fact, we never really even noticed noise during the day. House was spotless, well cared for, and well stocked. Beds were comfy and the shower in the downstairs master was the absolute perfect combination of water pressure and volume! Oh, and don’t let me forget to mention the bikes. Four adult bikes to enjoy the bike paths right outside the gate or just to cruise around the neighborhood. There is also a beach wagon to haul all your goods down to the beach. There are lots of board games, a drying rack, some great books, nice televisions, comfy chairs, and good WiFi. I could go on and on but like I said in the beginning, stop looking and start booking. “Wonderful, wonderful vacation! We stayed at Destiny Breeze the first week of October 2018. The house is every bit as beautiful as the pictures. It was clean, comfortable and had more to offer than you could even take advantage of in a week’s time. From the many games in the cabinets to the extremely well equipped, roomy kitchen, everything was more than we had hoped for. Our hosts Larry & Debbie went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and it was a pleasure to meet them. Beds were very comfortable. Being right next to the pool was great with kids. The luxury is truly in the details…and Larry & Deb’s special touches! Upon arrival, you’ll find an immaculate home with the perfect floor plan- family-friendly, encouraging “togetherness” yet providing plenty of privacy for those times you desire a bit of separation. You may find fresh specialty bread or pie, coffee, and water waiting for you in the fully equipped, dream kitchen. Our family loved gathering around the huge kitchen island which is perfect for eating…or putting together a 1000 piece puzzle (a family tradition!) The pool table was a big hit and there’s also a huge selection of games available. You’ll soon discover they have thought of everything! ALL the beds sleep dreamily and there is a TV/Netflix in every room. The neighborhood is quiet & peaceful. Everyone we encountered (beach chairs guys, gate guards) was friendly and helpful. The home overlooks the neighborhood pool and the sandy-white, private beach & emerald sea is a short walk away. The only problem you may encounter is finding a vacant week to book your dream vacation home! Better choose early…if you snooze, you may lose. We can hardly wait to come back! “Amazing Week in Paradise! We stayed here a week in August and it was heavenly! Larry, the host, was a pleasure and extremely accommodating. The house is as beautiful as it looks in photos (you know they aren’t always!). The location is perfect – a few minutes walk to the PRIVATE beach and away from the hustle bustle of the sometimes crowded Destin. We had three families (12 people) and there was plenty of space for everyone. The guys enjoyed the pool table. We were in the downstairs master bedroom and the bed was so incredibly comfortable (which says a lot coming from a very pregnant lady!). “My husband and I selected Destiny Breeze as our home away from home for our family vacation with our adult sons and their wives/girlfriends. This was our first trip to Destin so we were a little unsure of what we were in for. It was an absolutely perfect location! The gated community and the private beach is a must, and the community pool (literally) right next door was a nice bonus. Larry and Deb made sure everything in the house was there for our trip – even bringing Bocci balls to the beach for us – which only added to the beach experience! The pool table was the one thing that was the final decision for me to select Destiny Breeze (with boys, it was almost a “must”)…” Martin B.
“IMPRESSIVE: Stop right here! This home and the owners are AMAZING! Excellent upgrades throughout the house and this is a DREAM kitchen! First, I can not say enough about Larry and Debbie, the owners. They are so wonderful. They met us when we got in and gave us a tour of the home showing us all the features and how things work. No guessing! I don’t know if they do this every time… we were just a bit early and they were leaving with the cleaning crew. Yes, they oversee the cleaning so they know everything is perfect! 🙂 CLEAN, CLEAN CLEAN! As we were going through the house we mentioned we were going to be having a large Spaghetti dinner and pancakes in the morning. A couple of hours later we got a text to check the front porch. They had went out and bought a huge pasta pot and two griddles!! Who does that? 🙂 They also left a loaf of blueberry bread, waters, and coffee pods to get us started. Anyway, on to the house. It’s stunning! The lower level has 3 bedrooms and a laundry room. The master has built-in wall closets, double doors to the outside patio next to the pool and a large bathroom with huge shower and soak tub. ***THE WATER PRESSURE IS FABULOUS! No worries about running out of hot water either. And then there is the upstairs…Beautiful and fun. This second level has at least 12 ft ceilings and encompasses the kitchen, family room, dining room, and pool table area. Having a pool table here was ingenious. This was the place we all hung out. Making dinner, having drinks and playing pool. The TV has music channels in the 900’s which was great to have on while cooking and playing pool. The kitchen has everything. So many dishes, pots, pans, bowls, griddles, glasses, coffee cups, etc. The walk-in pantry has plenty of room for you to store your food. The island is massive! Other than this large open area, there is another queen bedroom. This bedroom has it’s own entrance to the full bath that also has an entrance to the huge open space. This is convenient for those sleeping in the bunk room. The kids loved this room. Super cozy and their own TV! Don’t forget to visit The Crab Trap right down the beach. Great food! And the BEACH… pictures do not do justice to this beach. The sand is like powdered sugar and does not get hot! The water is emerald green and clear. Just beautiful. You really can’t capture it in a picture or describe it. And it’s a private beach! No crowds! Thanks again to Larry and Debbie! We will see you soon!” Mechele D.
Wow, where to start….
The home was simply magnificent and perfect setup for our 3 families, but that was not the best part. The best part had to be the personal attention and hospitality of Larry and Deb. We have rented places in Destin area for nearly 20 years and this time was simply the best experience we have every had! Prompt, professional attention from start to finish with every detail addressed. We had a few minor issues during our stay and Larry and Debbie were on it immediately and genuinely wanted to make sure our families had a refreshing and carefree vacation.
Location – After 20 years of trying different places and areas, Destiny by the Sea is the best, period. Private, uncrowded white sand beach area with reasonable chair/umbrella service and just a short walk away from The Crab Trap. Destiny Breeze is just a short 5-minute walk to the beach with no traffic to worry about and is located next to the pool which was extremely convenient for our family with small children and provided a beautiful view morning and night.
My wife and I rented Destiny Breeze from July 27th thru August 3rd 2019 for a vacation with our two sons, two daughter in laws and four grandchilren. It was absolutely perfect for the ten of us. To begin with, Larry and Deb are exceptional hosts. From the very beginning of our reservation they kept us informed and were in touch even as we were traveling from Kansas City to Destin. They met all of us at checkin to make sure we were given a tour and to answer questions. The home is furnished with absolutely everything needed in the kitchen, greatroom, bedrooms and the beach. TVs in every room, a pool table, games, 4 bicycles and items needed for the beach made the stay easy and memorable. The beautiful beach is just a few minutes and a safe walk for the kids from the house since there is no major thoroughfare to cross. Since it is a gated community, the beach is private and not as crowded as the public beaches. The beach rental company is excellent to deal with as well. The house was spotless when we arrived and was just an amazing place to enjoy as a family get together. The natural gas grill was good to use for a few meals and yet the place is very close to many good restaurants and grocery markets. Being right next door to the swimming pool was also a real plus for the grandchildren as a change from the beach. In summary, Destiny Breeze is an exceptional place for a week at Destin and we cannot thank Larry and Deb enough for their hospitality and professional assistance from start to finish.
